Bad things are happening in Stormwind – and beyond.

The Hand of Lothar, they call themselves.

Yva Darrows was their first target.

Tirith and Aely were their second and third.

They have since… expanded their reach and escalated their methods …

  1. Yay! I won’t have to tank on my DK anymore! :D

  2. *sniff* simply beautiful!

i still feel connected to annie mae, having contributed to her backstory. i’m so glad you’ve made it all the way to 80 :)

  3. Woot! \o/

  4. @Arrens – you’re gonna have to tank a little while longer, I don’t have the gear (or the skill) to tank even level 80 normal instances yet! Working on it – going to pug a few VH/Halls of Stone runs I think. Maybe I can get people to come help? (currently at 518 defense and 20K health)

  5. @Krizzly – She’s still herself too. I love her RP :D

  6. Grats on 80 warrior, Anna.

You might want to try to throw together a ToC5 regular group for some runs, good tank and dps drops in there at decent levels. Same with regular FoS/PoS/HoR, which are short and drop 219 gear. Even carrying a green/blue decked warrior, those instances are pretty easy.. unless you also want to tank practice. *yikes*

  7. @Shieldbreakr – Yeah – that’s what I’m intending to do, I just need to get the people together to drag my sorry tail through it :D

  8. Congrats! My wife’s toon Marabelle welcomes Annie Mae to the Level 80 Gnome Warrior Wimmens Clan. (On our server, she is one of three… how about yours?)

  9. @Hangk – as best I can tell, there are about 160 gnome warriors on Feathermoon, but I don’t know how to differentiate male/female – you’ll have to tell me how she knows that!

  10. Awesome!

Back in the day, Nahy was one of three level 60 female dwarf paladins on her server. As it happened, we all got our Chargers on the same Scholo run. This was early enough in vanilla that most paladins did not have Chargers, so when we took them to IF, and we were all pigtailed dwarves, it caused quite an uproar.

You can take your list of 160 and check all their armories — that will tell you all their genders. If you care that much. I know of one who is male, so that only leaves 159 more to check, since you can leave Tatoo off the list.

  11. Well, I’m going off of what I can find on Warcraft Realms… which doesn’t show me their names, just that there are about 160 total, and 65 of those are at level 80. I fully expect that I’m doing something wrong, and that I can make the official armory do this… but I don’t know how!

  12. Huzzah!

  13. Grats to Annie Mae!!

Pitch will be more than happy to help with instancing. He may even be persuaded to tank some of them, if Arrens needs a break. :)

  14. As of this afternoon…

5 items crafted, all of my titansteel, titanium, and primals gone. Plus a few more shelled out to the AH. The result? 23K health, 22K armor and 544 defense.

    *cracks knuckles* IT’S ON.

  15. Grats!

  16. GRATS!!

And Windstar would definately be willing to come chew things/heal peeps if needed.

  17. Tare can tank,

    Silly Arrens

  18. Anna… well, we’re not entirely certain because our methods are inexact. Basically, around the time she dinged 80, we started doing /who gnome warrior every time we logged on, and then Armoying those who did not have a gender-specific name. We only every found those three female gnomes, so we concluded that was all there were.

If there are 160 max-level gnome warriors on your server, it’s probably much higher-population than ours, at least Alliance-side. So you probably have more than three fellow Gnome Warrior Wimmens.

You’ve not lived until you’ve seen Patchwerk-25 tanked by a gnome, btw.

  19. Nah – only about 60 max level gnome warriors. Of those, I have no idea how many are female… and how many are protection specced. That’s kind of part of the awesome. I’m not just a girl warrior gnome. I’m a girl warrior gnomeTANK. \o/

I’ll do some /who and see what I can find!

  20. My gnome is a rogue, I am afraid. I did briefly play Quilque as a warrior, but realized I did not want to level another one.

  21. Mine’s a warlock. I never meant to play her — I just rolled her up for a practical joke, and her personality and story came barreling out of somewhere, and now I am stuck with a character who does not have a healing spell. I don’t DO characters who cannot heal. Until now.

I’m bored. I’ll go see what I can figure out about the gnome warrior with at least a tank specc population on F’moon. Report later!

  22. Here’s a complete list of the gnome warriors who logged out Prot. Asterix means it’s female.

  23. Wow – thank you!! (I’m still not sure how you did that, and I hope it didn’t take too terribly long!) That puts Annie at the newest (most likely) of 25 female gnome prot warriors on Feathermoon.

    SO NOW YOU KNOW.

  24. Not long: maybe 20 minutes. And I’ll have missed anyone who logged out Arms or Fury.

The order is random, except for Annimae who is at the end for dramatic effect. I wish I could have quickly grabbed the dates of the Level 80 achievement, but I wasn’t THAT bored!
