It didn’t take long to get from Thunder Bluff to the Echo Isles – Ankona took advantage of a wyvern so she could think and plan before getting to her destination. She had information to confirm with the spirits – was Gromnor dead? Was he really in the northern part of the Eastern Kingdoms, somewhere […]

Diablo 3 – Click and…
comment 3 Written by on May 29, 2012 – 7:04 am

Playing Diablo 3 is all the demon smashing awesome that I’d expected. While I’m not fond of giant creepy magic-flinging (!) spiders dropping out of the ceiling, the enemies are bad, and you, dear hero, have the potential to be bad ass.

And so, as you’re playing Diablo 3, you get to experience a number of variations on the Click-And-??? theme.

  • Click and squish: the old standard. You click it, it squishes.
  • Click and smash: Barbarian style. You click it, you smash it.
  • Click and kick: Monk style. You click it, you kick it.
  • Click and fwip: Demon Hunter Style:You click it, you put arrows through it.
  • Click and bzzzzzt: Wizard Style: You click it, you electrocute it. Lightning damage is fun!
  • Click and shiver: Wizard Style: You click it, you freeze it. Cold damage is fun!
  • Click and shuffle: Witch Doctor style. You click it, it has a zombie friend. Creepy.
  • Click and ribbit: Witch Doctor style: plague of toads. Creepy
  • Click and skitter: spider bomb. *shudder*
  • Click and fwoom (with optional BANG): Fire damage is Fun! While Wizards are also prone to lighting things on fire, Bola Shot, from Demon Hunters, is my favorite of this type so far. It’s on fire and then it blows up.
  • Click and Profit: Find a treasure monster lately?

What’s your favorite variation on Click-And-???

  1. I enjoyed scaring all my co-op buds with all my gazillion spiders 😀

  2. Click and run for a shop: After an hour of clicking, you look at the pride and joy of your gaming rig, the perfect gaming mouse that took years to find, and you feel its pain. Then you grab your coat, run to the computer store, and grab the nearest salesperson’s shirt with just the words “need Diablo Mouse”.

Click and argue: Wizard & Monk may sound like a good team, but not when the wizard likes to go crazy with all her flashy long-range and AoE abilities.
My poor monk had so little to do that she decided to just sit on a rock and read that old Tristam Paper she found. Complaining about having nothing left to kill is kinda useless as longs as Miss Flashy Magics is enjoying her rampage that would make Baal run for the hills.
