Why I love Feathermoon

There are many reasons that I love my realm.  (And occasionally reasons that I’m not so fond of it).  But the community there is accepting of roleplay and raiding, and the roleplaying community is one that I’m proud to be a part of – even if I’m more of a wallflower recently.

I discovered this recently – one of the top Feathermoon raiding guilds is holding an RP contest.  The basic gist is that you write up a story of why your character needs to kill Illidan Stormrage and how s/he would go about convincing that guild to take him/her along.

The winner gets to go with them to see him taken down.  (No guarantee of loot or anything like that – this is purely an IC kind of contest).

I think that this is awesome and full of win.  If I wasn’t holding on to the (somewhat realistic) hope that TRI will see our own Illidan kill before this is all over, I’d be entering the contest with Angoleth.  And I sincerely hope that the winner will have their story posted (and maybe some of the others) – I’m looking forward to seeing how this plays out!
