RP Annoyances in SWTOR
It’s the little things.
I want to sit on the couch, dammit.
There are lovely chairs all over. Bar stools, benches, couches. I want to sit on them.
I’d also like to sit in such a way that I am not flashing my character’s delicate bits at the world.
Also, I’d like the emotes to not make me stand up for all of them, even the ones that don’t have an animation. And when I /bow, I really only need to bow ONCE. Not repeatedly until I jump to stop the emote.
I’d especially like a way to tell who is in a chat channel with me. Something like the old /chatwho command would be fine.
Really, it’s all little things. But sometimes they can add up to be a big headache.

AMEN.
Seriously. I love you.
*sigh* Please listen to us, Bioware. Please? I know we silly RPers are the minority compared to the PvP and PvE fanatics. But we want to enjoy your game too!
Everyone wants to be able to sit down in the chairs I think
I don’t really RP per se but when I levelled my first toon in WoW with my now husband we always went and laid on the bed in the inn before logging out.
I think all gamers like immersion, whether they actively RP or not.
LotRO has the same problem with emotes, drives me crazy. Having to /sit again after every emote really spams up the chatbox.
They do at least let you sit on the chairs there, just need to get close to them and /sit…. until you type another emote and your toon stands back up again. Ugh.
I’d also appreciate being able to sit on chairs and sitting in a less casual way, it doesn’t fit with the character at all.
I think you can use these commands for channels though:
/channellist – List all custom channels you are on
/list [channelname] – List the players on the custom channel
@Niniel – I will definitely try that with the channels!
