It didn’t take long to get from Thunder Bluff to the Echo Isles – Ankona took advantage of a wyvern so she could think and plan before getting to her destination. She had information to confirm with the spirits – was Gromnor dead? Was he really in the northern part of the Eastern Kingdoms, somewhere […]

Fun little RP idea – what if you used the food buffs from the Northrend “silly” foods to flag your character’s emotions?  Kind of like you’d use a “currently:” tag in your flag RSP, only with a buff, so you wouldn’t need the addon.

  1. Old Mammoth makes you sad.
  2. Haunted Herring makes you scared.
  3. Bad Clams make you angry
  4. Cupcakes make you happy!
  5. Chocolate cake makes you happy too.

These don’t even have a level requirement – though they requires Northrend materials (Mammoth, Herring, Clams, and Northern Eggs) or lots of materials (Chocolate Cake) – so low level characters could make use of it if they have either lots of cash or higher level friends. And it doesn’t knock off other food buffs that you’d get from normal buff food, so you can eat some Bad Clams before you take on that awful boss (or have an argument with someone in the Cantrips) and not worry about losing your spellpower, haste, crit, AP, or other assorted food buff.

I think there could be other food/emotion buffs.  Maybe something that makes you Amorous.  Chocolate truffles?

Also, thanks to the wonderful Duerma, Feasts are now to be called Pigwells.  They make for excellent RP as well, especially if you’re not in a place with a table that comes furnished with other foods.  Set a giant platter of roast pig for your friends at a party!

  1. I suppose my fellow Hordelings would kick my ass 16 different ways if I asked for a [Huge Tofurky Feast] >_>

You just don’t try to feed bean curd to orcs, trolls, forsaken and tauren. THEY HATE IT.

Maybe I should move to Silvermoon, the Horde capital of “Alternate Lifestyles”?
