It didn’t take long to get from Thunder Bluff to the Echo Isles – Ankona took advantage of a wyvern so she could think and plan before getting to her destination. She had information to confirm with the spirits – was Gromnor dead? Was he really in the northern part of the Eastern Kingdoms, somewhere […]

Friday Five – Items of Significance

Every Friday here at Too Many Annas, you’ll find a little RP prompting – either in the form of 5 questions to answer about your character or in the form of a ficlet prompt (500 words) to write about them.  These aren’t meant to be hard, just things to think about for your character – you can answer in a comment or use them as a blog post of your own!

This week’s Friday Five is a “guest post” of sorts, from Avonar over at Holier Than Thou!

  • Does your character have any specific jewelry that they constantly wear?
  • Does your character have items that they always carry with them have that personal significance?
  • Does your character’s weapon have a name? A personality?
  • Are there any items in the world your character would defend/fight to the death over?
  • Is your character a pack rat or do they just carry the bare essentials?

  1. 1) Rashona: nope. Khallan’s *cat* has a Blue Pearl on a rawhide thong around his neck in an attempt to keep him safely un-cursed.

    2) Rashona has a scrap of an Unyielding banner from the Hellfire Peninsula quest, though she keeps it in her bank.

    3) Nope.

    4) Not even. If it’s not alive, it’s not worth dying for. Though as a druid, she has a fairly catholic definition of “alive”.

    5) Total bare essentials. Armor, weapons, and treats for her sporebat to lure it out of trouble.

  2. So I’m considering rolling a fresh new alt on an RP server! Thing is, I’ve never RPed. But I’m really interested in starting a character that has a history and a personality. I read over the “First steps in RP” article (very helpful!), but

I just wrote a blog post about it, and I was wondering if some of you RPers might be able to offer advice, or suggestions on how to start?
