Wyn’s got a great rant post today about how it’s not just about killing the boss.

As usual, she’s spot on with this one.  Some nights that you get all the bosses down are less satisfying as a raid as nights where everyone’s got their game together and you take on hard stuff, even if you don’t take out the new boss.  And there’s a lot of time in-between boss fights that (at least for me) is as influential as the bosses in terms of “raid morale”.
