**A note on dates. Dates are pretty important, but we have no idea how Silvermoon reckons time, so I’ve used the WoWWiki Unofficial Timeline dates for most of it. As such, all years are measured with the beginning of the First War as “Year 0” even though that makes fuckall sense for Blood Elves. You […]

Anna’s In-Combat UI

Newly updated screenshot here. This was taken in a 25 man Turavon kill before our raid on Friday evening. It doesn’t really get any crazier than this, unless it’s AOE funtime and there are a ton of ground-effect graphics around (like Putricide).

Addons used (primarily):

Mik Scrolling Battle Text
Fortress/LibDataBroker/Assorted Plugins
Satrina Buff Frames
Omen/oRA2/BigBrother/Bigwigs Boss Mods
Gatherer/GatherMate/Wowhead Database

There are probably a few others that I’ve forgotten, or that aren’t visible on screen – like Auctioneer (that I run for my banker only) or Totem Timers (for Annorah), but by and large, that’s my UI.  I’ve been running with a setup like this for pretty much the whole time I’ve been raiding, adding and taking away as I tweak it.  But I’m pretty happy with how it looks right now!

  1. Shiiiinyyyyyy…..

  2. I noticed some text comments ‘Big Brother: blah’ in the chat. Is this a mod you are running or are you receiving data from another persons mod because you are a raid assist? It looks like an interesting mod from the point of view of who is doing what 🙂

  3. Yep – this is the mod called BigBrother that allows raid leaders/raid assists to see things like that. It’s one that we require of all of the TRI raiders (along with some sort of Unit Frame/Raid UF, oRA2, ventrilo, and a bossmod.) you can turn off those warnings, and I usually actually raid with a secondary chat window that just has Raid Related Infos ™ in it, but it’s better for screenshots to just have the regular stuff so you can’t see my channels >.>

  4. What are your PallyPower configuration settings? I really like how compact you made it.

  5. I just shrunk it down really far (.8 scale maybe?), and have it not display any classes that aren’t currently in the raid or that I don’t have buffs assigned to. I also don’t have Auras displayed, or RIghteous Fury, since I manage them by hand.
