I assume that

and

“3. Finding mail spellpower gear with +hit (or yellow sockets) is annoyingly difficult.”

It’s only one slot, but you could probably pick up an eternal belt buckle on the cheap (they’re seriously pretty cheap Hordeside). Maybe it’d get her over that line to hit capped.
