  • Post the TRI clear of Naxx-25, Aely picked up the libram of renewal (badges) and got her “Superior” achievement!  (Also got her T7 pants, replacing yet another pair of non-plate pants with less than ideal stats)
  • Pengu, though adorable, is a very slow learner, and so they’re still only at 350 fishing.  Northrend soonish, hopefully.
  • This weekend’s food frenzy was a little more medieval than any of us would’ve liked (50 degrees, 20mph winds, intermittent rain, and cooking over fires that kept going out).  Still, by all accounts, it was a great success, even if we were rather cold.
  • Trying to start raiding the same week as planning to feed 100+ people is a bad idea.
  • This is going to be a relatively short list, since I have a ton of work to catch up on – last week threw a monkey wrench in just about every schedule I have!

  2. 350 fishing is good enough to start fishing in Northrend, provided you have lures! (And let me know if you don’t; I’ll send you some.) Teu hit 350 just as the boat left from Menethil, and was able to start casting away as soon as she landed. 🙂

  3. So any medieval recipies you would recommend? I have been looking for a meath dish, maybe a stew or something like it.

  4. Honestly, if you’re looking for a medieval-like stew, beef, carrots, onions, mushrooms, and barley is all about as period as you can get, esp in someplace like Germany. People have been making soups and stews the same way for eons, just the ingredients changed. (They also didn’t write down a lot of recipes, because they figured that everyone knew how to make stew and soup and bread! duh! so it can be a little hard to find stuff sometimes if you want documentation)
