While Icecrown blows away all comers for sheer coolness, my favorite single quest so far is "Escape from Silverbrook". I didn't expect that plot twist as I worked my way through the story (though I wondered why the villagers were so hostile), and it was just a rush to complete with no preparation. Aww, no mention of the Amberseed quest?

On a more serious note, I’d also add the various Dragonshrine quests throughout the Dragonblight, available from the questgivers in Wyrmrest Temple. Some nice stories, and a few surprises too.

Ooh – yeah I’d forgotten about the Falconry quest. That’s another really fun one.

Phileas had WAY too much fun with the puppy costume as well, and completely tormented Aely for the duration of that quest (in a fun way). She’d already completed the quest, so it was just him with the costume.
