Also – there is some question about whether Ancestral Awakening is currently bugged. The talent should summon an orc ancestral spirit – but as of the official 3.0.2 release, people are getting the “noise” from the spell, but not the actual spell itself. I’ve not tried it out, so I can’t say anything one way or the other – if anyone has more infos, please let me know!

At 70, I think I’m going to stick with thundering strikes, since I’m not currently “used” to having Ancestral Awakening procs. I also dont’ have the talent points to get Imp shields over Improved Earth Shield at 70, so I’m taking Improved Earth Shield.

At 80, however, I’ll probably take Improved Shields over Imp Earth Shield, since it’ll buff me as well as my target. (this is with a raid build in mind)

I would be very interested to see what you think of Ancestral awakening v. more crit from thundering strikes, or whether improved earth shield really makes a difference. At 80 there will be fewer choices to make, but I’ll be interested in feedback from everyone on which talents seem to be most useful for 5-mans v. raids, etc.
