Tonight, TRI joined the ranks of raids that have, in fact, beat Warcraft as it currently exists.  Sartharion and all three of his drakes fell tonight – in one fight. Not too shabby for an RP raid that didn’t see our first 25 man until 8 weeks ago on the 6th of January (when we cleared Naxx on our first night in).

(In the front right corner you’ll notice our amazing, fire walking bear tank.  <3 Also, and you can’t see it, but our Esteemed Fearless Leader, one Tarquin ap Danwyrith, did vanquish the black dragon Sartharion wearing… a Master’s Hat of Fiery Wrath.  I told you we were an RP raid… /facepalm)

    This can’t help but make me think of one of the issues I had with my current guild. Nobody cared enough to take Boss kill Screen shots. You have a tangible memory of the awesome that happened, and I envy you for that.

  12. Sorry about that. Congratulations on your victory- I am all for combining RP and raiding!

    I have a question for you about my shaman- how much white DPS is worth trading for a slower, windfury-friendly weapon? I found that trading my Bloody Brass Knuckles for a Gloom Reaper(http://www.wowhead.com/?item=863) produced a 40-point drop in overall DPS, so obviously that was a bad trade (unless the problem was my lack of axe skill, but I stuck with it until I had axe over 100, and there was no change).

  14. Wow, congrats!! Our guild is still working on three… we’re trying him again this Monday (/cross fingers)… we’ve done 2 drakes, but three has continued to be elusive. Hopefully we’ll get them all down soon!
