She’s never had a particularly strong connection to the Light (she was a warrior of some sort, before this whole Shaman business), and recently, with M’uru’s corruption, she’s not so sure they’re the amazing infallible beings of Pure Light that they’re touted to be. She doesn’t doubt that A’dal and the others are beings for “good” as opposed to “evil”, but she’s just not really enthused about having their mark on her name all the time. I’m not sure she’ll take any title, for that matter. She’s kind of persnickety about things like that, and would rather just be Farseer Annorah or just plain old Annorah.

Don’t you mean “Aelflaed, by accident”?

Also, why is Annorah iffy about the Naaru?
