   Kallixta – They’re SUPPOSED to inspire posts! That’s the point. The Friday Five (and Five-hundred) are there to provide little bits of story ideas that might take hold of your brain, or just help you know your characters better. I’m really glad these jogged your brain and created a post!

   1. Dry toast and black coffee, accompanied by a cigarette (smoked on the sly because her girlfriend doesn’t approve) and the hair of the dog that bit her last night.

   2. Being told what to do. Seriously, don’t start with her. Unless you are one of a very few select people to whom she actually listens, she will probably tell you exactly where to stick it – and even if you are one of those select people, there’s still a decent chance she’ll blow you off, she’ll just be more polite and/or sneaky about it.

   3. Several, actually. There’s a pendant of the Light that her best friend, a human paladin, gave to her (though she doesn’t display it openly – it’s usually tucked inside her shirt). Also a ring that she stole (sort of) from another close friend. And a pair of old flying goggles that belonged to her father. And her boot flask (no explanation needed).

   4. Discovering that her morally-righteous, rather uptight, and somewhat prudish paladin BFF runs a side business out of her blacksmithing shop, crafting shackles and chains for… recreational purposes. (Corise may or may not have then commissioned a set for her own use.)

   5. Her children. She may not be in the running for any “Mom of the Year” awards, but she loves her two kids to bits.
