Going to do this for Arvoss my death knight, since he is 1- my only toon that actually has a theme song, and 2- he actually is on Feathermoon. >.>

1. Does your character have any musical inclinations? Can he or she sing or play an instrument?
He can play a mean fiddle when the mood strikes him. He doesn't own one right now, but if anyone were to let him borrow one, then...yea.
He has a rather rough voice (being a death knight might have something to do with that), so he doesn't usually sing. He will at times when he's alone, though. Shaurria has just recently gotten him to sing for her a couple times. He does carry a tune pretty well.

2. If yes, are they trained or self-taught? If no, have they ever tried to make music of any kind?
His da taught him the fiddle when he was growing up, and he played alot when he was alive. He's had no formal training as far as singing goes, that's just natural talent.

3. What kind of music, if any, reminds your character of home?
Fiddles and stringed instruments, and anything slow and sad, especially anything you could call "haunting". It doesn't have to specifically be music from Lordaeron; if it's slow and sad, it makes him think of home.

4. What kind of music would your character listen to, if given an iPod?
Probably alot of Irish/Celtic music, some southern rock, not sure what else. Instrumental rock maybe?

5. If you had to pick a song or two to represent your character, what song(s) would that be?
I know it's been mentioned before, but "Darrowshire" I think really works for anyone from Lordaeron, whether they are alive and kicking, or, well, undead and kicking.

Arvoss' theme song is "Micah", from Russian Circles, an instrumental rock piece. It just fits him so well.

Does your character have any musical inclinations? Can he or she sing or play an instrument?

If the Old Horde didn't kill Bricu's parents in the last days of the first war, he'd have been a bard. As it happens, he never got to finish learning the tin whistle. He can carry at tune and he's relearning the tin whistle (up next, I think he needs to learn how to play the Bodhran or the Azerothian equivalent).

If yes, are they trained or self-taught? If no, have they ever tried to make music of any kind? Bricu started with a tutor, but lately its self taught. He's never tried to write a song.

What kind of music, if any, reminds your character of home?

Fiddle, pipes and drums.

What kind of music would your character listen to, if given an iPod?
Bricu would listen to Punk Rock, a little bit of Metal, Delta Blues, Country and Western Music and a smattering of Opera.

If you had to pick a song or two to represent your character, what song(s) would that be?

Dirty old town (I added Kristy MacColl for a different flavor.

I'm still looking for another song for Bricu. This isn't as easy as I had hoped it would be.

I'll fill out these for Norvallen, since they're relevant, and the one thing about her character that're totally at odds with everything else about her.

1. Musical Inclinations?
Yes. Perhaps surprisingly, given what she is. She's a skilled hand at the autoharp or zither, and has a decent mezzo-soprano voice.

2. Trained?
Self-taught. Picked up her instrument, wanting to find a hobby in something other than arcana, way back in the day. Spent a while plucking at it until she had it more or less figured out. Capable of reading music, but generally doesn't bother with it.

3. Reminds her of Home?
She considers Dalaran home, so, let's assume music that originated in that city is similar to the ambiance that actually plays in-game. So; soft orchestrals, subdued choirs, odd "eastern" bent (as opposed, for example, to the brazen fanfares, choruses, and "western" stylings that dominate Stormwind's "musical culture"). A very tangential question, on this note: Can anyone out there go into the ethnic origins of that style of music, if it has any? Doing so may help flesh the character out better, as well as just being fun to know.

4. iPod?
If she were modern-day, she'd collect a lot of folk music, blues, and a smattering of country and "southern rock" (whatever that means). I see her tastes as very much veering towards a very relaxed, "down-to-earth" playlist, and that's really the best sort of modern analogy. Charlie Daniels would undoubtedly be a favorite artist.

(you see what I mean about this being so much at odds with her persona?)

5. Theme Music?
Going to have to show my nerdity here, and go the video game route. The music that plays when she comes onscreen and starts doing her thing is probably "Freya's Theme", by Nobuo Uematsu, care of Final Fantasy IX.
