Betrys – middle-aged Dwarven Priestess. She was widowed in the second war, but her children were almost all grown and self-sufficient by then. Being a hearty long-lived dwarf (compared to humans, at least), she had a good 80 more years of active life ahead of her, so five years ago she went out to see the world. She goes by the title Matron most of the time. She would one day like to be known as a Loremaster, though, as she is an avid gatherer of the stories and experiences of the people she meets.

Actress: Kathy Bates

Kathy Bates has the perfect Matronly/Motherly air, yet she can also be tough and bad-ass. She would have fit better when she was a little bit younger, though, Betrys doesn’t have quite as many wrinkles yet.

I’ve bounced around actors for Jak several times, but as of Wrath basically settled on James Purefoy.

Only one I need to add there, is the face-melting wonder, Iriandra Trellen, who would best be portrayed by the heir apparent to the crown of the Amazons (you know, after Lynda Carter gives it up), Lucy Lawless. Just make her blue and give her horns and she’s spot on.

She’s maybe just a smidge too cheerful, though. My draenei can be spritely, but she’s not really girlish.

For my mage…hmm. That’s a tough one. You’d need someone with a chin on him, and not too lippy. But NOT Jonathan Rhys Meyers, who is a butt head. *thinks moar*

Provided she gets painted blue, gets a pair of horns, hooves and a CGI wolf, Michelle Yeoh could do a pretty good portrayal of my main, Tamari. My druid, the feral Azeriel, could be played by the cat-eyed Eva Green , I think she has the right cold, don’t mess with me kind of attitude. And lastly, my most roleplayed character, who is regrettably no longer getting much playtime, my mage Avanna, could only be portrayed by a red haired Kate Blanchett.

And although I know your question was about WoW characters, I considered who could play my writing characters as well.

For Kaiyu from Feather Path, Ziyi Zhang will need to get some serious make-up, but I think she has the grace required.

And lastly, Kate from my NaNo novel would be pretty well portrayed by Emily Blunt .
