So, I’ve been finding it hard to get excited about getting back into the game lately, I think in large part because I’ve done so little lately that it feels a little odd again.
Anyway – I was puttering around on Aely last night and realized I had more than enough Emblems of Valor/Heroism to buy both a set of Bind on Account shoulders and a nice weapon… and I had to decide whether those were for the mage or for someone else. But then, inspiration (and a bit of insanity) hit, and I bought both of the caster BoA items (cloth shoulders and staff) and mailed them to Annylais.
“But Annylais is a druid?” you say. “She’s feral!” you say. And you’d be right. Until now.
Inspired by various other amazing ChickenBears in my life, and with many thanks to Greylo’s Leveling Moonkin post, Annylais is now communing with her feathered, antlered ancestors and joining in the collective nuking of bugs in Silithus.
And no, this isn’t an April Fool’s joke (unlike most of the other major respec posts you’ve seen this week probably are). I’ll probably go back to resto eventually, but being a Laser Turkey is a lot of fun, and hopefully will give me enough inspiration to write more about Annylais, as well as crank her through the last few levels and hit Outland – she hit 58 last night.
Oh – and because Annylais is now in posession of one of (if not the) most cheerful dances in the game, I’d be amiss not to include a link to the machinima video that inspired the post name – Shake That by Baron Soosdon. This video never fails to make me giggle, especially all the various bosses dancing (Kael’thas? Rend Blackhand and Nefarian? The Scarlet Monastery Cathedral? Yep!), but also the Moonkin stacked all over the Moonglade buildings! Enjoy!
