Priestly Checklist

Having three healers at level 70 occasionally presents unusual problems. Especially when it dawns on you all at once that two of them are now both geared appropriately to start tier 5 content, and neither of them is appropriately enchanted/gemmed.

So it’s 5 minutes before the first pull and your raid leader sends you a whisper.
“Hey, I just heard from [Healer Lead]; he [got in a car wreck/has the flu/picked up girlfriend aggro/got eaten by a gronn] and won’t be able to make it tonight. Could you coordinate healing for us?”
So being the Good Little [...]
LFG Heroic Magister’s Terrace

(Anyone offended by large amounts of QQ need not read any further. Frustrated Anna is Frustrated.)
My hunter really needs Magister’s Terrace runs.
She needs, specifically, two Breeching Comets and a Tunic of the Ranger Lord. (Though I’d settle for a Hauberk of the War Bringer, if I had to)
Nobody ever wants a hunter for [...]

So - Feathermoon is juuuuuust about to open up its new 2.4 Sunwell Badge vendor. Probably tonight sometime. And so, here you have the loot that I want from the vendor.
For Annorah (only covering Resto loot, since I don’t have enough badges to think about other loot yet):
Gavel of Naaru Blessings - [...]

Matticus posted the final chapter of his Five Barriers to Raid Healing - Healing Against Your Will.
It is both eloquent and excellent (as usual) - go read and learn! (The whole series is worth your time to read, I promise. Good stuff that. Also, he just helped me fix an addon problem [...]
What do you pack for a raid?

Well, obviously this one depends on the character, but I tend to go with as many consumables as I can justify bringing for the cost for my priest (who is not a progression character) and all available buffs/flasks/potions for my shaman (who is). I bring both flasks and elixirs to most raids, in [...]

(Warning - RPer content ahead)
So, when I’m not busy being a restorelemenhancement shaman (since I love all three specs, but am currently resto), I can be found playing a priest. Annalira leveled holy, aside from a short stint with shadow from levels 63-67ish, and she has always been intended to be a healer. [...]
I won’t survive…

(To the tune of Gloria Gaynor’s “I Will Survive”)
At first I was dazed,
Then I was Mortal Striked,
Kept thinking I would always live
If I could duck and hide
But they’ve made so many mods
For Arathi and Warsong
They grew strong
I was their target all along
And so they’re back
They start to chase
I try to run but they break fear
Before [...]
BA Shared Topic - What would you add to WotLK?

I’m sure I”ll come up with more interesting things as I think on this one, but I thought I’d jot off a quick list while it’s on my mind. Will talk to spaceship husband and see what we can come up with for more changes later though, so expect follow ups (and possible Paladin/Rogue/Mage lists!)
Shaman:

So, I’ve been looking at all these “Post your UI” threads on various warcraft forums lately, and I’ve come to have UI envy. I was introduced to warcraft by a guy that wrote addons, so I’ve never used the default UI for longer than it took me to get things working again after a [...]
